Crack in the morning.

I keep thinking someone should write a fic called Urahara Kisuke, Secret Agent.

Not me, though. I have started a Bleach/The Mummy crossover that has this elaborate backstory for Ikkaku, which actually makes sense with him being bald and all and wearing that funky eyeliner. The beginning assaulted me last night in the shower and I just had to write it down. I also have a vague idea where the plot might be going, but it's really... vague.

Does this mean you won't be pairing *him* with Hermione? I'm still trying to figure who would suit her best, and coming up blank.

Mhm. I'm coming up blank too so far. Which is probably just as well considering that would have been extreme!crack.

But ooooo, Ikkaku/Evie! I've only written a little and the premise is a completely different one from my initial try (which would have been Ukitake/Evie), and OOOOOOOO!

Heh. You have the neatest crossover crack ideas. Where do you come up with it? Is it the sugar? ^-^

I wish. Mmmm, cupcakes.

Anyway, it's probably some weird chemical combination in my brain. ^__^

Crossover pairings are my drug of choice, but only when I think they can work. They usually result out of frustration when one of the two has no proper canon counterpart in his or her own universe, or a life that does not allow for romantic entaglements of any kind. That was the case with Kakashi and the main impetus for Serendipity. :)

Yeah, I get you. Like non-crossover odd pairings are my drug. *pokes at dying Sess/Kagome muse* Until everyone else starts doing them and it doesn't seem so drugging anymore. =\

Or rather until everyone starts doing them badly...

Oh, yeah. *shudders* Definitely that, too.
