I'm free!

The thesis is approved and out to print. With a little sleep and such I might start to feel human again in no time at all.

The presentation is on the 27th, so next week is going to be a little stressful too, but still! The end is in sight. And soon, I'll actually make money from all the work that I do. Am very happy with that. And since we're on the subject of money, I have this list of things I want to buy as soon as I get my greedy little hands on the first paycheck:

  • a scanner;
  • a dvd burner (only for backup purposes of course);
  • a large desk;
  • whitewash for the living room walls;
  • pretty paper and stuff;
  • a Kakashi doll (yes, I *am* that obsessed).

All hail!
You can't see me, but I'm doing a hip-thrusting, ass-spanking, titty-shaking dance of PWNAGE in your honor.

It is quite a sight.

Re: All hail!
Oh, I can picture it very well! Am feeling honored, too. Also, for some reason I can't stop grinning from ear to ear. :D

Congratulations! As I have myself spent the large majority of the summer working on some kind of ginormous task (bar exam), I can heartily say that the feeling of finishing it is somewhat indescribable. Kind of like suddenly becoming weightless. So enjoy the freedom!

Also, so amused that you are getting a Kakashi doll. If you get one, you must post a picture of it so that I can be viciously jealous. Although you might also be one of the only people who would appreciate the fact that I snapped up a Kakashi keychain at an anime store while visiting my sister (Along with a Gaara, Naruto and Sasuke). In fact, Kakashi right now is aiming some kind of jutsu at my hands while I type this. What better guardian could you have!

Thank you! I wish I did feel weightless... strangely enough I just feel a little empty now that the initial euphoria has passed. Am also dreading the presentation, which is strange considering I chose a job where I'll have to do this routinely at conferences and stuff.

The Kakashi doll is still a dream... First I have to get a credit card (which shouldn't be a problem as soon as I start working), then I can buy stuff online. I definitely envy you your keychain. I'm positively green right now!

Congrats and reaching the end of your thesis situation which you've been going on about forever now ^_^.

And out of ur list of things to get...the most appealing is definitely the Kakashi doll =P

Heh. Personally I think the most appealing thing is the scanner (although I do love Kakashi to death). The dvd burner is a close second -- I have 60 GB of drawings to backup, not to mention my downloaded image collection of another forty GB, and other miscellaneous stuff that takes up 150 GB on my drives. That, or I'll just buy a third drive, and a second cooler. :P

*huggles* I'm very happy to hear that your thesis is near explanation.

I guess this mean I should boost the writing date for that Sess/Kagome fic up so you'll have something read to when you comp back. :-p

Ooooh, please do! I luuuurve Sess/Kagome more than ever right now. Such lovely dynamics (which simply *have* to lead to sex)!
