Whee! It was incredibly stormy last night and I didn't sleep all that well, so I was at work over two hours early and managed to get quite a bit written. Thank [insert supernatural entity of choice] for student cafeterias and hot cocoa.
Besides I had to teach a class today, and I always feel completely wrung out after teaching. Today it was a tiny bit of set theory and first order logic, also proof by induction. None of which is very hard individually, but a real challenge when combined with bored students who are convinced they don't need math for computer science. I managed to convince them though that uni-grade math can be both useful and fun.
Yay for me. Also they were much better than the group I had yesterday, half of who didn't lift their noses from their laptops.
Well, that's beginners for you. They'll either learn or drop out.
Aaanyway, now there are about 7 hours left until midnight, so I'm itching to get home and write some more, even I have no idea what yet. Thankfully it doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to be.

Sadly, I have to remind myself all the time that what I'm writing doesn't have to be perfect, or even good. I tend to forget it.
Luckily, I've noticed that you can't judge the quality of your own writing before you haven't taken at least a week's break away from the piece in question. :)
